A fast-growing manufacturer in Bury St Edmunds is seeking a Paint Shop Operative/Assembler to join their dynamic team. This role involves paint spraying and assembly of small parts while maintaining a clean working environment. Experience in paint prep is ideal but not mandatory. The position requires physical stamina and is for an immediate start.

Job description

Role: Paint Shop Operative/Assembler

Start date: Immediate Start

Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk (4 day work week)

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 06:00 - 16:00

Pay: £12.21+ p/hour (WEEKLY PAY)

• Assembling and securing small parts with precision
• Working confidently with hand and power tools
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Occasional mechanical assembly with stainless and mild steel
