A healthcare provider in Croydon seeks a Patient Pathway Team Leader to oversee team coordination and manage administrative processes for a quality patient care service. This role requires strong management skills, experience in multidisciplinary teams, and the ability to handle complaints effectively. You will support the development of staff through regular appraisals and ongoing training, ensuring adherence to policies and performance standards. The Children’s Services department aims to look after the secondary needs of sick children, offering a combined integrated acute medical and community care for both inpatient and outpatients. The outpatient clinics are held in the Willows, CDC and various satellite sites such as Parkway, Leander Road, Waddon and Purley memorial hospital. The Patient Pathway Team Leader will provide senior support and expert knowledge to the team of patient pathway coordinators within the Point of Delivery team (POD), as well as other administrative staff within the POD. The team leader will work with another team leader as a joint team to oversee all administrative and clerical process to enable a high quality, effective, patient focused service to be delivered. The post holder will ensure that standard operating procedures are followed, ensuring achievement of all performance targets. The team leader will be responsible for providing regular updates on performance and the escalation of issues which hinder the delivery of a smooth patient pathway to the Service Manager.
