Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the outpatient paediatric team at the Cove Children clinic, within the James Paget team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care without supervision.
• Maintain Health and Safety of patients and colleagues at all times by complying with relevant Trust policies.
• Serve as an active member of the multidisciplinary team, liaising/communicating as necessary and supervising support staff.
• Recognise any signs or deviations from the norm and give clear, accurate verbal and written reports.
• Maintain a safe, child‑friendly environment.

Required skills and experience

• Band 5 experience.
• Holistic care for patients and families attending The Cove Children’s Clinic and other Children’s Outpatient Services.
• Knowledge of Family‑Centred Care.
• Experience working with children and all age ranges.
• Ability to learn and develop services within the outpatient clinic.
