This is an exciting role within the Urgent Care. We are seeking a qualified ENP to join our well established team of ENPs at NMGH to drive forward the service in an autonomous role.

As a qualified and experienced ENP, you will be able to work in a fast paced environment and autonomously assess, investigate, diagnose, treat and discharge patients within their scope of competence who present to the emergency department with minor injuries and minor illnesses.

You will be expected to provide advice and guidance to the multidisciplinary team and ensure all records and documentation are completed and relevant. The role requires you to be an expert in your own field of practice and will require you to provide teaching and supervision for other members of staff in ED, including trainee ANP, ENP, nurses, NARs, NA’s and medical staff.

You will have responsibility for the assessment, evaluation and implementation of care for patients presenting with minor injury or illness. Using your established clinical skills, you will work independently as an ENP to deliver high-quality, evidence based care to this client group, with the support of our lead GP, consultant lead and matron.
