A leading healthcare institution in Gorleston-on-Sea is seeking a Paediatric Clinic Co-ordinator to provide high-quality administrative services. The ideal candidate will efficiently manage patient bookings, work closely with consultants and support outpatient services. Candidates should have relevant experience and qualifications, including GCSEs and an NVQ in business administration. Familiarity with NHS systems is advantageous. Competitive salary offered between £24,937 to £26,598 per annum, pro rata.

To provide a high quality administrative service, ensuring that the patient booking pathway is uncomplicated, efficient and helpful, reflecting the Trust's Code of Valued behaviours and meeting the Trust's performance objectives for outpatients.
To provide a friendly & efficient, one-stop service at all times for patient and service user enquiries (telephone and face-to face).
To be able to create and change clinic templates as requested by clinic staff and Consultants.
To be responsible for booking and organising appointments/cancellations and service redirections/rejections via Choose & Book.
To ensure all clinic outcomes are recorded following the patients appointment, adhering to trust guidelines.
To offer a telephone support service to GP Practice staff for Choose & Book, investigating any appointment queries or difficulties accessing services, and resolving these where possible.
To report Choose & Book enquiries that cannot be resolved to the Choose & Book Team.
To monitor outstanding referrals on Choose & Book and liaise with OPD Sister/Consultants to ensure these are processed within the required timescales.
To be able to cross cover for Children's OPD admin/ reception staff as required.
To liaise with Consultants, secretaries and all outpatient staff to ensure clinic scheduling is accurate.
Undertake training and personal development as appropriate to the post.
To manage and monitor the Paediatric Outpatient waiting lists. To be able to create and use spreadsheets to collect data as and when required.
To use Word, Excel & e‑mail as required.
To undertake any other duties as reasonably requested.

To provide a dedicated service to a designated specialty, working in partnership with consultants, secretaries and outpatient colleagues to keep the paediatric clinics utilised to optimum levels and to provide performance data to Consultants as requested.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
