Overview

Reporting to the Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist hand therapy, splinting and rehabilitation for paediatric patients following elective and trauma surgery, orthopaedic and neuromuscular conditions.
  • Conduct upper limb functional and handwriting assessments to support surgical planning.
  • Lead on complex case management within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Train and support less experienced team members.
  • Deliver training to the wider team and contribute to ongoing service development.

We are looking for a motivated, flexible, and innovative person to join our supportive BOPP's team (Burns, Orthopaedics, Plastics & Limb Reconstruction). This is an exciting opportunity to work in a specialist and collaborative environment, primarily in outpatient settings, providing expert care to children with a range of upper limb conditions. Qualified Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist with HCPC registration is required.
