Qualifications

  • Post-registration qualification in Children's Emergency Nursing or equivalent.
  • Currently working in Emergency Nursing.
  • Evidence of further study in relevant areas.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and develop care needs as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Deliver care in accordance with regulatory and Trust policies.
  • Maintain a clinical knowledge base and supervise others.
  • Participate in auditing and quality improvement initiatives.

Skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Clinical documentary competence in IV Drug Administration
Ability to coordinate and lead nursing care
Proven leadership qualities
