Working 4 hours per week either after school, on weekends, or during school holidays, with flexible notice.

I am looking for someone who can take the boys into the community doing activities they enjoy such as visiting the trampoline park, soft play, eating out, or the park.

Henry and Douglas are brothers diagnosed with autism. Henry is a quiet boy that requires a lot of guidance. Douglas is lively, loves to burn energy and have fun.

Full DBS is required and the candidate must have a full driver’s licence with business insurance.

You must be a caring and patient person.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Both boys are unaware of dangers, so a responsible and alert individual is required.
  • Both boys are verbal, but with limited conversation skills.
  • Both boys are independent with toileting, but Henry sometimes needs encouragement to use public toilets, especially when he fears hand dryers.
Required Training
  • Full DBS
  • Full driving licence with business insurance
  • Knowledge of ASD and experience working with children with additional needs.

Hours per week: 4 hours – weekends and after school.

Rate of pay – £13.00 per hour employed / £15.60 per hour self‑employed.
