You will be required to support me 7 mornings a week for 1 hour. This will include supporting me with getting up in the morning, personal care and supporting me with my medications. I would also like 4 hours of support on a Thursday. I enjoy attending a U3A group at a local university, they put on a speaker and it's a great opportunity for me to socialise. This is only on once per month, however I would like to utilise the hours on a Thursday for other events and just to generally get out and about. There is a coffee morning I like to attend on a Tuesday, however this is only once a month. I am severely sight impaired and I will require support navigating my environment safely. This will mean you will be required to give me hand held support, and if the ground changes or there is a step or a slope I will need you to make me aware of this. This role will require the Employee to have access to a vehicle, our location is remote and not on a public transport route, the car will also be required to support me to access the community.
