TeacherActive is currently seeking an enthusiastic P.E. Teacher who is confident delivering high-quality physical education across Primary Schools in Birmingham. This is a flexible, supply-based role, ideal for someone who enjoys variety, new environments, and working with pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

We welcome applications from teachers with:

  • QTS in Primary Education who have a strong interest or background in P.E.
  • QTS in Secondary P.E. who are happy to adapt their practice for Primary settings.

The Role:
  • Deliver engaging, inclusive P.E. lessons across Primary year groups
  • Potential opportunities to teach P.E. within Secondary settings depending on your preference and experience

  • Follow school policies and adapt to different school environments
  • Support pupils with a range of abilities and foster a love for sport and physical activity
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Primary or Secondary (P.E. specialism desirable)
  • Experience delivering P.E. lessons to children
  • A flexible, adaptable approach to teaching
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Willingness to work in multiple Primary Schools across Birmingham
  • A valid DBS Certificate or willingness to apply for one through TeacherActive
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Ability to provide two references from recent employers
