A leading educational support agency in Harlow seeks compassionate Outreach Tutors to provide one-to-one support for students unable to attend mainstream education. This role offers flexible hours, Monday to Friday, and allows tutors to make a lasting impact on learners with social-emotional needs. Ideal candidates will have a dedication to rebuilding confidence and fostering academic outcomes in various environments.
Outreach Tutor / Outreach Teacher (One-to-One Support)
Location: Harlow and Surrounding Areas
Pay: £20/hour (Unqualified) | £25/hour (Qualified Teachers/Tutors)
Schedule: Monday to Friday | Flexible AM, PM or Full Day availability from 9:30am | Term-Time Only
Commitment: Monday to Friday Full or Half Days (typically 2 - 6 hours per day)

Are you a compassionate educator with a desire to make a difference outside the traditional classroom?
We are looking for dedicated Outreach Tutors and Teachers to provide personalised one-to-one and small group support to students across Essex. This role supports learners who are currently unable to attend mainstream education due to anxiety, social-emotional needs (SEMH), SEND, behavioural challenges, or those at risk of exclusion through our partner Alternative Education Service in Essex. (You will not be working for our agency)
Whether you are in a pupil’s home, a local library, or an education setting, you’ll help learners rebuild confidence, re-engage with education, and work towards meaningful academic outcomes.
