A community development organization in Liverpool is seeking a passionate Outreach and Activities Worker to engage with families and support children's development. This role involves providing vital resources and information to families living in disadvantaged areas, conducting home visits, and promoting school readiness. 13 hours a week (9:00-4:00) – over 2 days, some flexibility can be considered, with a thirty-minute unpaid lunch break
Initially fixed term to 31 st March 2026.
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team in an exciting role that involves engaging directly with families in our communities.
As part of our work to support children’s development and school readiness, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact by working with families living in disadvantaged areas.
Your role will include reaching out to families registered with the Children’s Centre, sharing valuable information on key issues such as child health, and development, and preparing children for school.
Through direct engagement—such as home visits, you will provide vital support, helping families access the resources they need to give their children the best possible start in life.

Essential criteria for the position:
The hours are 9.00 – 4.00 pm over 3 days, with a thirty-minute unpaid lunch break.
