Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated person to work as an Outpatient Scheduler in the newly designed Gynaecology Outpatient Booking POD at the Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport. The post is part time and permanent.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for booking appointments for a team of 25 Consultants and associated teams, and for the management of the Gynaecology Outpatient waiting list, including first outpatient and follow-up appointments. You will gain in-depth knowledge of the booking process for Gynaecology and build close working relationships with key stakeholders. You will need excellent communication skills, be able to work under pressure, have a good knowledge of RTT rules, and be an experienced Welsh PAS user.

You will be supported in the role by a Team Leader and will receive full in-house training. The role is fast-paced and interesting. Candidates with proven Customer Service experience, particularly in a Call Centre environment, would work well with our Team.

Qualifications & Skills

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
