A regional healthcare provider is seeking a motivated Band 3 Technician to join their Medical Day Unit in Cheltenham, UK. Qualifications

  • Experience of working within an acute clinical environment.
  • Previous experience within a relevant specialty.
  • Ability to inform Nurse in Charge of any potential situations regarding patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation and delivery of intravenous infusions and other treatments.
  • Assist with patient observations and monitoring, under supervision.
  • Maintain stock levels and ensure clinical areas are well organised.
  • Support clinical staff with daily workflow and patient movement.
  • Contribute to infection control and health & safety standards.

Education

GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English Grade 4 or above
