Overview

Join Kids Planet Lutterworth as an OOSC Practitioner. This role involves planning and delivering fun, safe, and engaging activities for children before and after school, supporting children's social, emotional, and physical development in a nurturing environment, and working closely with the team and families to ensure smooth routines and positive experiences for all children. Working hours are 7:30am-9:00am and 3:00pm-6:00pm. During school holidays it will be full days; part-time options are also available.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver fun, safe, and engaging activities for children before and after school.
• Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development in a nurturing environment.
• Collaborate with the team and families to ensure smooth routines and positive experiences for all children.

Qualifications

• Must be at least Level 2 qualified in a UK-recognised childcare qualification.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
• An enhanced DBS check will be required. A Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate is mandatory for all positions, and this role will be subject to enhanced checks as part of safeguarding duties. Regular safeguarding training is a fundamental part of every role.
