Job description

Our Out of hours Operatives cover the 24/7 on call element of the Pitcher and Le Quesne team on a weekly rota basis and are responsible for bringing the deceased into the care of our funeral home.

We are looking for someone with the below skill set and qualities:

• High levels of commitment and punctuality.
• Keeping and updating accurate records in line with regulatory requirements.
• To be able to adapt to situations and be empathetic.
• Good level of physical fitness, as this role will involve heavy lifting duties.
• A clean driving license is necessary and availability to travel to Pitcher and Le Quesne site in a timely manner.
• An understanding and compliance that this role requires health and safety/manual handling with an exposure to the deceased is key.
