OSS Orchestration Architect (Ciena Blue Planet and ServiceNow Orchestration)

6 Month Contract

£450/day (Outside IR35)

OSS Orchestration Architect needed for a 6 Month Contract based in Newbury (Hybrid).

Must have strong Orchestration Architect experience with (Ciena Blue Planet and ServiceNow) Orchestration platforms preferred.

Orchestration focused Architect for an Orchestration Assessment.

A chance to work with a global IT Consultancy on a Telecoms architecture project for an external client. Start ASAP ideally in December 2025.

Hybrid Working - 3 days/week working remotely + 2 day/week working on site from the office in either Newbury or Reading.

Key skills, experience + tasks will include:

• Must have strong Telecoms industry experience including OSS and Orchestration Architect experience with (Ciena Blue Planet and ServiceNow) Orchestration platforms preferred.
• Key Skills: IT architecture, OSS, hands‑on experience with Orchestration Platforms (Blue Planet or ServiceNow preferred).
• Orchestration‑focused Architect for an Orchestration Assessment.
• The role involves evaluating Ciena Blue Planet and ServiceNow Orchestration platforms, developing RFx (RFI/RFP) material, and supporting vendor selection.
• The ideal candidate combines strong technical understanding of orchestration platforms with an architectural mindset able to assess capabilities.
• Familiarity with integration patterns, use cases, migration paths, commercial impacts, automation workflows, service fulfilment, inventory, TMF APIs, SDN/NFV/CNF concepts (at a high level).
• Key Responsibilities Evaluate orchestration platforms (Blue Planet & ServiceNow). Develop RFx documentation and assessment criteria. Analyse technical capabilities, integrations, and API readiness. Assess migration approaches from existing tools.
• Excellent stakeholder communications skills.
