Job description

As an Organisational Capability Responsibility Manager, you'll make a real impact, influencing strategic capability planning and supporting future programmes critical to national security. Day-to-day, you'll take on a pivotal role in shaping how human capability is managed and reported across our site. Reporting to the Head of Organisational Capability, you'll enhance the team through care and growth, ensuring compliance with Organisational Capability-related Licence and Authorisation Conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Managing compliance with LC/AC arrangements and supporting LC/AC 10/12/36 requirements.
  • Acting as a nuclear competency and capability expert within the organisation.
  • Serving as the regulatory interface for LC/AC delivery.
  • Reviewing future boat programmes and identifying capability and competence needs.
  • Driving alignment between organisational capability and business strategy.

This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.

Essential Experience of the Organisational Capability Responsibility Manager
  • Extensive experience in competence management and training.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead significant teams.
  • Strong background in compliance arrangements development.
  • Experience engaging with regulators in highly regulated, high-hazard environments.
  • Knowledge of LC10, LC12, and LC36.
Qualifications for the Organisational Capability Responsibility Manager
  • Graduate (Level 5) in a relevant scientific or technical discipline.
  • ILM Level 5 qualification or equivalent leadership experience.
Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPPI) security clearance for this role.
