  • Using your passion for your patients and your profession to deliver a memorable customer journey
  • Bringing your vibrant personality into the day to day running of the practice, setting high standards to ensure everything runs professionally, upholding the highest possible standard of clinical care and selecting the best products for each customer
  • Build trusted longstanding relationships not only with colleagues and customers but with healthcare professionals in the local community
  • Listening to our customers, providing the right up to date information at all times

Our Leadership Team

We have 4 Optometry Directors within the store collectively providing over 50 years of optometry experience. We are very proud of our Pre‑Reg programme and have enjoyed many years of success; our Principal Optometrist has over 15 years experience.

What we’re looking for

Alongside being a qualified and GOC registered Optometrist we are searching for someone who shares our store’s ethos. Someone who wants to grow, develop and offer exceptional customer care along the way. We want a practitioner who prides themselves on their clinical judgement that isn’t afraid of a hands‑on approach and who is keen to get involved and build rapport with the rest of the team. We’re looking for a skilled resident Optometrist to join us and be part of the team, helping to drive our practice forward.

Your career development will be mapped and documented targeting your career aspirations and aligned to your clinical development. Your growth will become our store legacy and an inspiration to our Pre‑Reg Optometrists of the future.

Location

Colchester is in the East of England within the county of Essex. Situated close to the coast in East Anglia, it is on the border with Suffolk and about 50 miles north‑east of London. It can be reached from London in under an hour by train from Liverpool Street Station or by taking the A12 if driving. It is close to both London Stansted and London Southend Airports as well as Harwich International Port for ferry travel.
