Overview

We're looking for an Operative to join our Southwest Water Team based in Redruth. Location: Redruth, Cornwall
Contract: Permanent - Full Time
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

Responsibilities

What will you be responsible for?

As an Operative, you'll be working within the Southwest Water Team, supporting them in repairs and maintenance services to provide reliable, efficient, and high-quality drinking water and wastewater services.

Day-to-day duties

Your day to day will include:

  • Be responsible for personal and site safety
  • Back-filling open holes, tarmac/concrete reinstatement, kerb laying, site support
  • Carry out any ad-hoc duties instructed by the management team or reinstatement team leader / ganger
What are we looking for?

This role of Operative is great for you if:

  • A full Driving Licence
  • Previous Utilities experience is beneficial
