Job description
Position Summary

The Operations Transformation Lead has a critical role in shaping the future of Power UK Operations and driving its success.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with various site and divisional teams to drive operational transformation and ensure the achievement of our strategic objectives.
  • Assess the current operational processes Vs One Safran Manufacturing standards, digital applications and management practices to size the improvement potential.
  • Assess the impact of change initiatives and develop appropriate communication and training materials to facilitate smooth transitions.
  • Lead the development of operational transformation initiatives and work with the Head of Operations and Head of Supply Chain to design a future state vision and roadmap for implementation.
  • Launch identified quick wins - Create a detailed transition plan, outlining tasks, timelines, resources and an evaluation of return on investment.
  • Engage all levels of the Operations organisation to create ownership and ensure execution of the plan in line with transition objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise operational excellence.
  • Set up an implementation management process and tools to track progress of the plan and fast resolution of roadblocks and align to SAFRAN change management guidelines.
  • Lead change management efforts to drive organizational transformation and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide guidance and support to teams in implementing process improvements and best practices with alignment to Safran Group tools.
  • Collaborate with site Senior Leadership Team to develop and execute a plan that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the Operations organization.
  • Evaluate Synergy with other rotating machine sites and build a best practice map of the division.
  • Manage the introduction into the operations organisations the upcoming enhancements in ERP , Product Life cycle management and Manufacturing execution systems.
  • Work with Pitstone and divisional teams to define and coordinate delivery of a plan to radically transform the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul business to achieve best in class performance of repair.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in operational transformation within a manufacturing organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, systems, and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of Engineering process and ability to dynamically transform business operating systems.
  • Proven experience in leading and driving change initiatives.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Results-oriented mind-set with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.
