TXM is excited to partner with a globally recognized client seeking a skilled Operations Planner to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing organization that values innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence.

This position is initially offered as a 6-month temporary contract, with a strong possibility of becoming permanent based on performance. During the temporary contract, the company will cover accommodation costs if applicable.

Note: The company will be relocating to Derby next year, so applicants must be willing and able to work in Derby upon the move.

In this key role, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing production processes, ensuring customer demand is met on time and in the most efficient, cost-effective way.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Plan and manage production schedules to meet customer demands and ensure timely delivery.
  2. Coordinate resources, including materials, equipment, and labor, to ensure seamless production flow.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as procurement, inventory, warehouse, and sales to align production goals.
  4. Analyze performance data and support continuous improvement initiatives, including new bid support and industrialization processes.
What we’re looking for:
  1. Proven experience in production planning, operations, or supply chain management.
  2. Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with ERP/MRP systems.
  4. Experience within aerospace, rolling stock, food manufacturing, or automotive sectors.
