A healthcare practice in UK is seeking an experienced individual to manage IT systems, ensure quality standards, and support clinical teams. The role involves overseeing staff management and maintaining data quality in a dynamic primary care environment. To work closely with the Practice Manager, to providea timely and responsive service for the implementation and maintenance of allbusiness, administrative, clinical and patient services.To help with the production of performance and qualitystandards within the practice. To help manage data quality issues, providingadvice and guidance to all practice staff in the use of the clinical system.
Create and maintain, in conjunction with thePractice Manager, a practice policy register and ensure the reviews arecompleted appropriately. Responsible for the organisation andadministration of medical teaching rotas. Have a thorough understanding and overseeEnhanced Service provision, QoF and clinical contracts. Give support/education to clinicians andadministrative staff to maintain contracts. Liaise with all members of the practice teamto facilitate seamless interface between administration and clinical issues. Liaise with Reception Supervisor andadministration staff to ensure high standards and targets are achieved. Oversee premises maintenance, delegatingworks as appropriate. Assist with quality initiatives. Assist with Quality standards such as CQCadherence.
We are an extremely friendly team comprising 3 GP Partners, 1 salaried GP and 1 GP retainer, 4 practice nurses, 2 HCA's, reception and admin teams. We have just over 8,000 registered patients and are based in central Petersfield town and easily accessible by train or car/motorway and have a free on-site car park.
Information Technology - Implementation and maintenance of all associated requirements, upgrades, security and services supporting the practices IT systems by delegation. Run reports and searches within EMIS to enable the reporting of clinical activity.
Quality - Alert the management team to issues of quality and risk. Provide consistent approach to processing of Alert Notifications. Identify any alerts and act promptly on the alerts. Assessown performance and take accountability for own actions, either directlyor under supervision. Contributeto the effectiveness of the team by reflecting on own and team activitiesand making suggestions on ways to improve and enhance the teamsperformance. Workeffectively with individuals in other agencies to meet patients needs. Effectivelymanage own time, workload and resources and those of others
Production of Performance and Quality Information -To be aware of national, local andpractice quality standards for chronic disease management. To provide support to clinical subgroupsin correctly identifying and targeting patients for assessment andtreatment. To ensure staff are aware of theimportance of maintaining disease registers and assist in the validationprocess. To assist in the production ofinformation for clinical audit as requested by the clinical subgroups. To provide support and training forcurrent and new staff ensuring that data quality, practice policies andprotocols as well as local guidelines are understood and adhered to. To oversee the security and validationprocesses for the clinical system. To ensure support is provided foradvice and training for current and new practice staff in the use of theclinical system. To ensure an equipment log is kept sothat practice owned equipment is readily identifiable.
