Overview

Operations Manager - Independent Catering Company - Bristol/Bath area - £55k with car or car allowance. 25 days Annual Leave, Cash back health scheme, Pension.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee 18 sites consisting of Education sites and B&I sites in the Bristol/Bath area.
  • Lead operational management within a quality focused contract catering company serving education, B&I and healthcare sectors.
  • Train new starters and existing staff; support staff development and performance improvement.
  • Increase sales in units and contribute to client meetings and business development with potential clients.
  • Attend client meetings and mobilise new contracts; troubleshoot and support operations as needed.
  • Ensure effective communication and strong financial acumen to drive the business forward and manage client relationships.
Qualifications
  • Previous Operational Management experience within Education and B&I sectors.
  • Experience in a quality focused contract catering environment; familiarity with Education/B&I sectors.
  • Genuine passion for food and up-to-date with current food trends.
  • Ability to train staff (new starters and existing teams) and to manage client relationships effectively.
  • Capacity to mobilise new contracts and contribute to mobilisation activities.
  • Strong communication skills and financial acumen; able to drive the business forward.
  • Based in or within a short commute of the BRISTOL/BATH area.
