Job description

MVP is partnering with a successful business to recruit an experienced Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end site operations at its distribution site in Middleton.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe and efficient running of a warehousing and distribution operation—driving continuous improvement, process development, and coaching your team to deliver best‑in‑class service. This is a hands‑on leadership role with real scope to shape performance, culture and customer experience on site.

What you’ll be doing:

• Manage daily warehouse and transport operations, ensuring all KPIs and contractual commitments are achieved.
• Inspire, lead, and develop your team to consistently deliver operational excellence.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives and drive cost efficiencies.
• Maintain full compliance with health & safety, HR, and quality standards.
• Contribute to strategic site goals and ensure delivery within budget parameters.
• Act as an ambassador for the company’s core values in all activities.
• Foster strong, trusted relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
