Overview

VANRATH are working in partnership with a well-established, innovative organisation in Northern Ireland to appoint a dynamic and motivated Operations Manager. This is a permanent, full-time role based in Belfast, with standard working hours.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership, direction, and oversight for all Operations teams within your designated area, ensuring delivery against operational and financial objectives.
  • Take full responsibility for client operations across all service lines, including Cleaning, Housekeeping, Security, Healthcare Cleaning, and Combined Services.
  • Ensure all direct reports adhere to company policies and procedures relating to financial controls and reporting, payroll, health and safety, incident reporting, and human resources.
  • Oversee and manage area performance against budget, including setting and monitoring financial targets for direct reports to drive operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Prioritise client retention and proactively identify contracts or service areas that are underperforming operationally or financially, developing strategies for improvement.
What we are looking for
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong, effective relationships with clients, with a focus on retention and growth of core business.
  • Willingness and capability to support business development activities, including contributing to tender and sales processes as needed.
  • A clean and valid driving licence is essential due to the mobile nature of the role.
