Overview

Operations Director - West Midlands

Location: West Midlands

Salary: £80,000 + Car Allowance

Amber Mace is currently recruiting for a dynamic and experienced Operations Director to join a respected and established care provider. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior operational leader to take on a pivotal role overseeing multiple services across the West Midlands region. This is a regional, field-based role, and the successful candidate must live within the West Midlands due to the need to attend services at short notice — particularly for urgent site visits or CQC meetings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational delivery and performance across a portfolio of services
• Ensure services remain compliant with CQC regulations and company standards
• Support, develop and lead regional and local management teams
• Drive improvements in quality, occupancy, and staff engagement
• Act as the senior point of escalation for operational or compliance issues
• Report directly to the Executive or Senior Leadership Team

What We're Looking For

• Proven track record in a senior multi-site role (such as Regional Manager, Operations Manager, or Director level)
• Strong understanding of CQC requirements and the ability to lead services to 'Good' or 'Outstanding'
• A proactive, hands-on leader who can drive improvement and support teams effectively
• Based within the West Midlands and flexible to travel across the region at short notice
• Full UK driving licence
