My client specialises in Precision Engineering supplying into highly regulated markets with a Turnover of £25million and around c40 employees.

As an Operations Director- you will be a key member on the Board of Directors - playing a key part in the planned business growth through strategic direction, enhancing operational performance, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Drive operational performance by monitoring key metrics, leading improvement projects, and ensuring alignment with delivery and cost targets.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration, including resource planning (S&OP), budgeting, job costing, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage and develop teams through coaching, reviews, and effective communication, while ensuring compliance with HSE and legal standards.

Experience Required:

  • Extensive knowledge within CNC Machining
  • Experience of regulated environments i.e.: Oil & Gas, Aerospace, Medical etc
  • Proven within people leadership with teams more than 50 employees
  • Experience working within a Senior Leadership Role ie: Head of Manufacturing/ Operations or above
  • Skilled in people-first management approaches, evidenced throughout your career
  • Working within a fast paced, dynamic manufacturing business ideally with experience within an SME with Turnovers over £15million
