In this role, you’ll ensure daily operations run smoothly – from overseeing facility services and lifeguarding when required, to providing outstanding customer service and efficient administration.
You’ll lead and support teams of enthusiastic casual staff, including customer service representatives, venue attendants, and pool lifeguards, who all work together to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for students and the wider community.
Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our facilities are safe, efficient and welcoming for everyone. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your career in sport and facility management within a supportive, collaborative team environment.
You have a strong team focus and are seeking an interesting, meaningful role. You possess good knowledge of aquatic facilities, prioritising health and safety, and enhancing customer experience.
Your excellent communication skills help you build positive relationships and expertly navigate conflicts. You are adept at maximising the experience for students and customers with the ability to confidently manage emergencies.
In addition, you must be flexible and available to work across multiple venues and a 7-day roster in rotation across the team, weekend penalty rates apply (not included in the advertised base salary).
