About the Role

Join our dedicated team at Horizon West Bus and Coachlines as an Operations Coordinator, where you will play a pivotal role in managing, scheduling, and overseeing our charter, school bus, and route operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective service delivery while complying with company policies, customer requirements, and WA fatigue management laws.

As a key player in our operations team, you will work closely with the Logistics Manager and other coordinators to foster a culture of safety and excellence within the organisation. You will be at the forefront of scheduling drivers and vehicles, pre‑emptively resolving service disruptions, and providing essential support during after‑hours operations. Your leadership and administrative skills will contribute to our overall performance and growth, making a significant impact on our day‑to‑day operations.

Duties
  • Schedule drivers and vehicles, ensuring timely service delivery and compliance with WA fatigue management regulations.
  • Manage operational inquiries and support incident investigations to uphold safety and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance team to coordinate vehicle repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Participate in after‑hours on‑call support, addressing urgent operational issues.
  • Drive initiatives for process improvements and ensure adherence to safety and compliance policies.
