A leading logistics company is seeking an Operational Work Area Manager for the Late Shift. This role entails overseeing a team of frontline staff and ensuring operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Royal Mail International Operations operates from the HWDC (Heathrow Worldwide Distribution Centre), the UK's largest and most advanced automated hub. This hub processes worldwide imports and exports, adhering to stringent customs and aviation security standards, and connects customers with over 195 countries globally. Spanning 45,000 square metres, HWDC has the capability to manage around 1 million import / export items daily.
To support the efficient running of the late shift. we have a vacancy for a dedicated individual to join us as a Work Area Manager . In this role, you will oversee a minimum of 20 frontline staff, delivering high performance leadership, driving motivation, innovation, and service excellence for our global customers.
Tuesday – Saturday 13 : 48 - 22 : 00. A degree of flexibility is required to meet operational requirements.
