Job summary

A leading food manufacturing company in Sleaford is looking for a dynamic training professional to lead operational training at their production site. Responsibilities include developing and implementing training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and motivating the workforce. Qualifications

Overview

This is a great opportunity to work with a flexible, service orientated company which is well established and growing. The role is to lead, improve and implement the operational training with great opportunities to broaden the role for the right candidate. They are one of the UK's leading peanut and treenut processors where the nuts are roasted, blended, coated and size graded. They supply bulk ingredients into the manufacturing and "ready to eat snacks" sectors and sells both directly and indirectly to retail and food service customers in the UK.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, improve and implement the operational training at the production site, delivering learning interventions to ensure employees are compliant with regulatory and mandatory requirements and engaged and motivated through training delivery.
  • Enable the production workforce to produce to correct product standards across a variety of measures.
  • Implement the current training programme across new and existing employees.
  • Develop and improve the existing training programme.
  • Support with internal and external audits.
  • Keep records and employee matrices up to date.
Role profile

If you are a dynamic and energetic training professional with the ability to drive the L and D agenda on the shop floor, this could be the perfect role for you. Alternatively, you could be a production specialist who wishes to move into a training role.

Requirements
  • A good standard of general education with proven written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer literate, mainly for Microsoft Office.
  • A training qualification is preferred, but not essential.
  • Ideally, experience of production within a food manufacturing environment.
  • A basic working knowledge of HACCP, quality assurance and control procedures would be advantageous.
  • A can-do attitude is essential.
