Job summary

A health and safety consultancy is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with safety standards on an onsite construction project in Norwich, UK. UTM Consultants are looking for a HSE Advisor, to assist our client with the construction of their facility, in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote and provide professional expert knowledge and guidance to managers, supervisors, employees and contractors on safe work practices, safety standards, and legal regulations.
  • Support identification and elimination of potential hazards and ensure control measures are in place.
  • Audit/compliance check (ISO 9001/14001/45001/55001).
  • Instructions, procedures, contingency plans.
  • Planning, facilitation / participation of Safety meetings, Toolbox Talks, briefings, Safety Walks, inspections.
Requirements
  • Relevant academic or technical background.
  • Completed NEBOSH (minimum level 3), or similar recognized HSE qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years’ work experience with HSE, ideally from onshore renewables/windfarm construction.
  • Demonstrable experience in dealing with 3rd party contractors in relation to HSE.
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis and incident investigation.

Location: Onsite in Norwich, UK.
