This rewarding role involves supporting students outside of a traditional classroom setting, helping them re-engage with learning, develop confidence in English, and make meaningful academic progress.

  • Plan engaging and accessible lessons that support literacy, reading, writing, and communication skills
  • Monitor and record student progress and attendance accurately
  • Work collaboratively with schools, families, and other professionals to ensure consistent and effective support
About You
  • Ideally a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent), though applicants with strong tutoring or mentoring experience are also encouraged to apply
  • Experience working with SEND or SEMH learners is highly desirable
  • Patient, empathetic, and flexible, with the ability to build positive and trusting relationships
  • Access to a car is advantageous unless you are already based locally
