Job summary

A leading cancer treatment center in Manchester seeks a Research and Innovation Coordinator (Band 6) to support oncology research and manage clinical trials. The role includes project management, compliance oversight, and line management of R&I Administrators. Applicants must have a postgraduate diploma or equivalent experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and a knowledge of GCP guidelines. This position comes with a permanent contract at 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of GCP and research governance requirements.
• Line management experience for R&I Administrators.

Responsibilities

• Manage research projects from initial registration to final approval.
• Collate project information for R&I Office systems.
• Organise and attend R&I divisional meetings.
• Assist researchers with funding applications.
• Identify areas for project improvement.
• Day-to-day management of the senior R&I Administrator.
