Job summary

A cruise management company in the UK is seeking an IT Technical Project Manager to oversee IT networks and deliver new IT infrastructure for new ships. Responsibilities include designing IT networks, leading projects, and supporting IT operations. Candidates should have experience in cloud systems, networking protocols, and project leadership, along with the right to work in the UK and flexibility to travel globally.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified or comparable qualification essential.
• Experience with Windows administration systems and Microsoft Office 365.
• Knowledge of networking protocols, routing, and network administration (AD, DC, DNS, DHCP).
• Practical experience in Cloud systems (either Azure or AWS).
• Experience of data centre management and backup technologies.
• Knowledge of VMware, anti-virus, and data encryption.
• Excellent stakeholder management, with strong project leadership skills.
• Good analysis skills, both requirement analysis and problem analysis/troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT networks and deliver new IT infrastructure to MSC new build ships.
• Supports IT Infrastructure and critical applications.
• Design and implement IT networks onboard.
• Lead MSC Newbuilds and refitting projects.
• Monitor and support infrastructure performance.
• Manage third party contractors.
