Job summary

A leading engineering services company in England seeks a Generator Mechanic to maintain and service Portable Electrical Generation equipment. You'll be responsible for conducting repairs, providing technical advice, and driving improvements in operations. Ideal candidates should possess accredited trade qualifications and strong diagnostic skills. This full-time role is located on-site in Swindon, Wiltshire.

Qualifications

• Recognised and accredited trade qualifications of City & Guilds standards or above.
• Proficient in fault finding and diagnostic abilities on both mechanical and electrical components.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Complete Generator Maintenance and Servicing within contracted timeframes.
• Provide technical advice and support to other trades regarding fault investigation and generator-related matters.
• Conduct training and mentoring of apprentices.
