Job summary

A leading global provider of material handling solutions is seeking skilled Resident Engineers to join their team in the Bolton area. As a Resident Engineer, you will diagnose technical issues and conduct preventative maintenance on Linde forklifts and other equipment at customer sites. Qualifications

• Experience working as forklift technicians or plant fitters is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with plant equipment or powered access equipment is desirable.
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues with equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance check-ups on equipment.
• Service Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment.

Skills

Vehicle technician experience

Mechanical engineering experience

Comfortable using IT equipment

Full UK driving licence

Education

NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification
