Overview

Zebrec is offering an On‑Site AV Technician position with a leading provider of professional Audio Visual Systems Integration services. The role involves providing full technical onsite support across London client sites, with exposure to a variety of Audio Visual and Videoconferencing technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setup and operation of integrated event spaces, including high‑profile auditorium‑based result presentations and town halls.
  • Proficient operation of audio, video and lighting equipment, both digital and analogue.
  • Setup and support of videoconference/audio conference sessions using Cisco and Polycom systems.
  • Manage all aspects of video calls from initial booking to monitoring and completion, including pre‑event system operational testing.
  • Prepare equipment for future events and meetings as required.
  • Locate faults and provide resolutions, such as fixing, replacing or upgrading hardware in support of AV and VC facilities.
  • Perform 1st and 2nd line repairs and ongoing preventative maintenance, including daily checks on all equipment.
  • Provide AV support to other business areas when required.
  • Maintain a professional and presentable appearance when liaising with senior executives, both face‑to‑face and by telephone.
  • Administer tasks supporting the role using Microsoft Office applications, bespoke ticketing systems and room‑booking software.
