A leading health organization in Wales is seeking an experienced Band 7 Ward Manager for the trauma and orthopaedic ward. The role involves leading a team to ensure high-quality patient care, supporting team development, and adhering to the highest standards of clinical governance. Candidates should have NMC registration and relevant experience. The position offers opportunities to develop leadership skills in a supportive environment.
We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to come and join our trauma and orthopaedic ward here in Ysbyty Gwynedd as the Band 7 Ward Manager. We need an experienced, highly motivated individual who can work with our Orthopaedic/ Surgical team to deliver high quality patient care. As a ward manager you will lead the team to provide the best possible care for our patients.
You will need to ensure the highest standards of quality and assist your team to achieve this.
You will be given the opportunity to learn and develop new leadership and management skills.
The post holder will be supported by the Surgical Matron along with the Surgical Head of Nursing.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
