A children's care provider is seeking an experienced individual to manage a children's home in the East Midlands. This leadership role involves overseeing placements to support the emotional and mental wellbeing of young residents. Key responsibilities include maintaining compliance with care standards, managing staff training and development, and handling child protection concerns. Candidates should have a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management, extensive experience in children's homes, and relevant knowledge of childcare legislation. We provide residential placements for children/young people aged 8-18yrs. We are approved, registered and inspected by Ofsted. We Specifically situated in highly desirable locations, our homes are located in close proximity to all transport links and a vast array of local amenities. Our homes are registered at a low occupancy level allowing them to operate to the best standards; ensuring quality child/young person-centred individualised care in order to meet the developmental needs of all of our residents. It is universally accepted that children and young people are more likely to grow and flourish emotionally, intellectually and physically in a family environment, our homes are a perfect example of this.
To work with the Senior Management Team to promote the values and ethos of Changing Lives Care Group LTD in the management of all aspects of the Children s Home, taking responsibility for the implementation of all young people s placements to support their emotional and mental wellbeing. To take the lead in the development, implementation, monitoring and review of standards across the home, ensuring exceptional levels of care for all young people and ongoing compliance with regulatory frameworks. To establish and maintain a competent, motivated and confident staff team, providing supervision and development of the residential care staff. To be the responsible person for managing child protection concerns, complaints and health and safety in order to ensure that the needs of all young people are met.
