Job summary

A children's residential service in West Midlands seeks a dedicated Registered Manager. Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Residential Childcare or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years experience in residential childcare, with 2+ years in management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all operations meet statutory and regulatory standards as Ofsted Registered Manager.
• Oversee care planning, safeguarding, and the day-to-day running of the home.
• Lead, train, and supervise a motivated care team.
• Foster a therapeutic and child-centred culture focused on positive outcomes.
• Manage budgets, staffing, and home resources effectively.
• Promote safety and wellbeing as Designated Safeguarding Lead.
• Build strong partnerships with local authorities, schools, and health professionals.
