A leading energy company in the UK is seeking an Offshore Wind Balance of Plant (BOP) Technician to support offshore operations. This full-time role at the Seagreen Offshore Wind Farm offers a salary ranging from £34,749 to £40,939, depending on experience, along with various benefits. The position involves conducting maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and coordinating contractors, requiring an electrical or mechanical qualification and an understanding of offshore environments.
Base Location: Seagreen Offshore Wind Farm (Commutable distance to Montrose Port for mobilisation preferred)
Salary: £34,749 - £40,939 depending on experience + shift allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances, and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Offshorerotation 2 weeks on 2 weeks off
The role
Based at the Seagreen Offshore Wind Farm, and mobilising from Montrose Port, the Offshore Wind Balance of Plant (BOP) Technician will report to the SOV Manager and work from the Service Operations Vessel (SOV) on a rotational shift basis.
This is a key role responsible for supporting the safe and reliable operation of both above-sea and subsea structures, as well as associated plant and equipment. You'll help reduce downtime, maintain compliance, and contribute to a strong safety-first culture across operations.
Depending on site requirements, this role may also require authorisation as an Approved Person (AP) under the Operational Safety Rules (OSR) and the Wind Turbine Safety Rules (WTSR) to carry out specific activities safely and effectively.
