Job summary

A leading engineering firm in the UK seeks a SCADA Commissioning Technician to configure SCADA systems on offshore substations. You will perform SCADA hardware and software testing, troubleshoot faults and collaborate with diverse teams. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering with at least six years of experience and valid GWO certification. YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITES

As part of the development of our activities in the UK, we are looking for a SCADA Commissioning Technician (M / F).

Reporting to the Commissioning Engineer, your main responsibilities will include :

  • Commission and configure SCADA systems on offshore substations
  • Perform functional and integration testing of SCADA hardware / software
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SCADA system faults during commissioning
  • Prepare and maintain commissioning reports and documentation
  • Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and clients offshore / onshore
  • Adhere to offshore health, safety, and environmental procedures
  • Inspect and support installation of SCADA equipment and instrumentation
YOUR PROFILE & PERSONALITY

You hold a degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Control Systems, or related technical field and have at least 6 years of experience in a similar role. Also, should have valid GWO (Global Wind Organisation) certification and BOSIET or equivalent offshore safety training is a plus.

You have a strong interest in control systems and offshore engineering. You possess excellent problem-solving skills and are able to work effectively both independently and within a team.
