Job description

We are recruiting for a full-time, office-based Office Supervisor to join our team at our Operations Centre in Sandtoft, DN8 5SX.

Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.

The Office Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Office Manager in leading the office team to provide excellent customer service. They are responsible for ensuring that Copart processes are followed, under the general supervision of the Office Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting in the hiring, training and development of office staff, to meet company standards
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations, including customer service and dispatch, alongside the Office Manager
  • Ensuring excellent customer service is provided at all times and by all office staff
  • Handling escalated customer issues, as required
  • Providing assistance and guidance to the team regarding administrative duties
  • Ensuring that work assigned by the Office Manager is being completed effectively and on time, in order to achieve successful operation of the yard
  • Motivating the team to ensure success
  • Carrying out a range of administration and yard duties, including car documentation, CAS system updating, call for release, etc.
Qualifications

Essential

  • At least two years of administrative and customer service experience in a supervisory role
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Desirable

  • Over one year of experience within a customer service environment
  • A proven track record of supporting others to achieve success
  • Excellent customer service focus, attitude and skills
  • Ideally A Level+ or equivalent
