Office Manager (with Document Control experience) – Huddersfield | Office-Based | Up to £42,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits | £300k-£10M Projects

We're working with a well-established main contractor based in Huddersfield, delivering a wide variety of commercial and industrial builds across Yorkshire — from bespoke one-offs to large-scale developments up to £10 million in value.

They're now looking for an experienced Office Manager to oversee the smooth running of the office and provide dedicated document control support across multiple live construction projects. If you're highly organised, confident in your systems, and enjoy keeping everything on track behind the scenes — this could be your ideal next move.

Responsibilities
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the office to ensure everything runs smoothly
  • Coordinating and providing administrative support for the project teams and wider business
  • Taking responsibility for document control — ensuring all project information (drawings, specifications, reports, correspondence) is properly managed and distributed
  • Ensuring version control and accuracy across all documentation
  • Working closely with site teams, project managers, and consultants to keep information flowing efficiently
  • Supporting the improvement and maintenance of internal systems and processes

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager, ideally within the construction sector
  • Strong background in document control, with excellent attention to detail
