About The Role

The days and hours: Monday - Thursday & Sunday 19:00 - 00:00

Hourly Rate: £14.20

Key Responsibilities
  • Inducted at the start of contract and trained within the first week to deliver the cleaning specification and use equipment.
  • Carry out all duties required in connection with cleaning and waste collection within designated areas of the estate.
  • Carry out general cleaning duties as instructed within the premises.
  • Use vacuum, scrubbers and other cleaning equipment in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions, health and safety manuals and after appropriate training.
  • Ensure thorough understanding of site health and safety information and abide by all site rules and regulations.
  • Handle chemicals and solutions only in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions and after reading relevant COSHH sheets.
  • Respond positively to any reasonable instruction from a manager.
  • Display a positive, friendly and 'can‑do' attitude.
  • Present a friendly and helpful attitude to customers.
  • Ensure that every duty is carried out safely and that all health and safety legislation is adhered to, including placement of warning signs for risky tasks.
  • Complete company administration in a timely and effective manner.
  • Attend meetings and other company activities as required.
  • Present a professional image consistent with the company at all times.
  • Ensure all company property is kept safe and in good condition.
  • Perform any other duty reasonably required by the company.
  • Dedicate time on site to go the extra mile and seamlessly meet the needs of Atlas clients.
  • Provide a high standard of customer care.
  • Work within a team that goes the extra mile.
About You

We’re looking for someone excited about making a difference, who has a positive and friendly attitude and who is local to the area.

  • Attitude to thrive and cleaning experience.
  • Cleaning experience: 1 year (preferred).
  • Janitorial experience: 1 year (preferred).
  • Ability to carry out the physical aspects of the role.
  • Basic level of spoken English, for communication on safety and with clients and management.
  • Good social skills to deliver service with a smile.
  • Right to work in the UK (please bring evidence to the interview).
