Overview

Newbold C of E Primary School is a friendly village school in Newbold Coleorton which is constantly growing and looking to improve. We are seeking an experienced office administrator who has ideally worked within a busy school office. The ideal candidate should have good customer service, ICT and communication skills. We are seeking an individual who is well-organised, efficient, flexible, calm, friendly, motivated and passionate about providing an excellent support service to our children, staff and visitors. Continuous training will be given to further enhance your development within the school.

What we offer
  • Term time hours (plus 1 week in the school holiday)
  • 24.5 hours per week (Monday-Thursday 8.30am-1.15pm and Friday 8.30am-3.30pm)
  • Salary Scale - Grade 7 range £26,832 - £28,146 pa pro rata

Job requirements
  • Demonstrate good communication skills that allow effective communication with all levels of school staff, governors, pupils, contractors and 3rd party suppliers.
  • A passion for working with children.
  • Practical experience in word processing, Excel and email
  • Experience of using financial/information systems
  • Experience of using ICT applications such as Word and Excel
  • Experience of managing websites and online platforms
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills both oral and written
  • Good time management skills
  • The ability to prioritise your workload and act under pressure
  • The ability to work effectively both as a team member and on your own
  • A willingness to undertake training as necessary
You will have
  • Experience with working with young people.

  • Attainment GCSEs or equivalent, to include English and Maths at grade A-C/4-9.
