Position: General Office Administrator • Hours: Full‑Time, Permanent • Location: Ballymena • Salary: £26-28k

About the Role

In this pivotal role, you’ll be the operational backbone of the office, driving seamless day‑to‑day administration and keeping the workflow running like a well‑oiled machine. You’ll support both the service and sales teams, ensuring customer enquiries, documentation, and internal processes are handled efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing incoming calls, emails and customer enquiries in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Providing administrative support to the wider team, including sales and service engineers.
  • Processing orders, quotations, invoices and service documentation.
  • Updating and maintaining internal systems, records and customer details.
  • Coordinating service appointments and scheduling engineers.
  • Preparing reports, spreadsheets and documentation as required.
  • Supporting stock control and liaising with suppliers when necessary.
  • General office duties such as filing, data entry and maintaining a well‑organised workspace.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in an administrative or office support role.
  • Strong IT literacy, particularly in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational ability with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads in a busy, fast‑moving environment.
  • A team‑player mindset with a customer‑focused approach.
  • Experience working within a technical, engineering, facilities or service‑based environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM or service management software.
