Job title: Off Site Operations Delivery Lead

Pay rate: £240 per day PAYE, Umbrella options available
Location: Hinkley Point
Hours of work: 40 hours per week, 5 days
Responsibilities
- Provide technical input and advice for procurement, planning, implementation and operation of key contract areas.
- Act as the Project Point of Contact and local authority liaison for the control and removal of GRT community incursions to the HPC AD site portfolio.
- Develop, review and update policies and procedures underpinning safety and standard operating procedures across AD sites.
- Plan and deliver detailed specifications to support procurement and implementation of infrastructure or real estate changes.
- Ensure safe and sufficient facilities for Tier 1 contract partners staff to enable safe travel to and from the main HPC Construction site.
- Conduct planned and reactive monthly Health and Safety and Engagement inspections and meetings to support AD operations.
- Manage day‑to‑day provision of a critical site support service to a construction workforce of circa 16 000.
- Account for compliance with all statutory, regulatory and site operational and health and safety controls.
- Develop and implement plans to meet or exceed service delivery requirements, expectations and the Project work schedule.
- Report any shortfalls to the respective Service Manager without delay.
- Undertake emergent tasks as directed by the Passenger Transport Service Manager.
Qualifications
- Recent and relevant in‑depth knowledge and experience in a Service Supply environment.
- Management or leadership experience in a service lead environment.
- Experience of working within the constraints of a controlled access high security environment.
- Confident delivery of a positive effect in a dynamic fluctuating environment.
- Willingness to learn from own experiences and the experiences of other members of the Construction Support Services Team.
- Proven technical experience within a large project environment demonstrating Logistics and Facilities Management experience.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships.
- Confident and willing to work with local supply chain partners in a cooperative way.
- Degree level or equivalent qualification in a related subject (desirable).
- Experience of working with and developing budgets (desirable).
- Recognised and certificated ‘Behavioural Safety Programme’ (desirable).
- Recent IOSH accreditation or equivalent (desirable).
- Results‑orientated team player capable of managing emergency issues (desirable).
- Experience of using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word (desirable).
